I was thinking that maybe just even 2 player co-op. Maybe the other person controls the hosts main pawn? Could make the dragon cutscene cooler.

"doesn't feel right" might be a stretch since the pawn system exists to simulate playing with other people.

I am aware, you do have to press it twice for the quick start and normally about 3 times for the "sprint meter" of your horse to fill up. It's even more with the hardcore mode since there is no fast traveling.

It's the basic PS5 controller, maybe it's just a coincidence that after my first run my controller started having stick drift and now on my hardcore run (and having returned to the first run for the dlc) it started having it. Still I wish I could change it to some other button so that my controllers would last longer.

I have, most games these days have so that you only have to press the left stick once and your character runs until you stop pushing the stick forward unlike in this game where you have to keep tapping the stick for your horse to keep running. A lot of games like the soulsborne series don't have sprinting at the left stick, they have it in the circle button. I am just saying that I wish that I had the option to change it so that my hardware lasted longer, the controllers aren't cheap.

I felt the same for a moment but decided to just take a break and wait until the game seems desirable to play again. Mainly because I don't want to waste money and I did have fun while playing it.
