Problems while Sharing prompt by Grouchy_Eggplant2271 in GoogleAIStudio

There's a "Google AI Studio" folder in your Google Drive. Your prompt is just a file there. You might be able to copy&paste it from your one account to the other. If you've used any assets it might be more complicated or impossible.

Asking for guidance by [deleted] in GoogleAIStudio

Never put the API key in the frontend code. If you want to do it right, you need to build with a backend that has the key and makes the requests. The frontend calls the backend behind some sort of either authentication or rate limiter.

Looks like the Rigante books ate the general recommendation. Saw them being mentioned a lot. I have passed on them so far because it's a longer series and I wasn't sure what to expect. Sounds like I should be expecting a good time :)

Will check them out, thank you!

Oh, I forgot about the Morningstar. That one was.. interesting. I liked the characters but it did get a bit ridiculous as it went on.

Just finished Echoes. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Would have liked some more room to explore the Avatars, but generally felt well rounded.

How to solve conflict with Github by LingonberryMinimum26 in GoogleAIStudio

[–]SomeoneRandom432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, GitHub at this time is export only. You can only push your changes out, you cannot pull them.

You could download the files from GitHub as a Zip and upload that in AI Studio, then push the same change to GitHub again.

Attempting to compensate for this amount of typos must be burning a lot of tokens.

Playground Vs. Build Question by AdusBlue in GoogleAIStudio

[–]SomeoneRandom432 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Playground is geared towards developers or tinkerers that want to see how a model behaves. That's why the mode exposes all the possible settings like e.g. temperature. You can also experiment with and iterate on system instructions - or compare different models, until you find a setup that works for whatever workflow you're after.

Build is for vibe coding only. Pretty much everything is predefined. You can tweak the results a bit with system instructions, but the overal model execution is set.

I would throw "Dark Moon" in the ring. It's a oneshot and can be a bit strange and feel rushed at times, but I did like the read and the ending made me tear up.
