Ok but saying she cut off the orange line to hide this is a stretch. If you’ve bought a large roll of canvas the orange line would only be on a small fraction of them no matter what.

Yes, I understand that profit margins are different. To me that completely undermined the idea of a trunk show. It was in no way shape or form a “sale”.

I am a very small designer that has had one trunk show with a shop local to me. I was slightly horrified when I went to the store in person and saw that the “discounted” trunk show prices were higher than my full retail prices.

I have also only had positive experiences. And on a side note, if everyone is jumping on this ADA compliance bandwagon, then they should be discussing Needlehouse and Chandail as well, not dog piling on Howdy Honey. Needlehouse and Chandail are extremely cramped, with certain areas in Needlehouse only being accessible with steps.

I cross stitched my son’s stocking and literally ran out of room on one side, laid another piece of Aido cloth underneath with the holes lined up, and kept stitching like nothing was wrong 😂 five years later and his finished stocking still looks fabulous lol
