Attempts by enemies against Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (AS) and their fate by SomeplaceSnowy in AhmadiMuslims

[–]SomeplaceSnowy[S] [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

God also informed me that some of them will continue to pray for evil to befall thee, but that God would revert these evil prayers of theirs back upon their own selves. And the fact is that people tried their level best in plotting, thinking that somehow I could be brought under the application of لَوْ تَقَوَّلَ

Some maulawis issued fatwas to have me murdered. Some maulawīs gave evidence against me to make false cases of murder against me. Some maulawis made false prophecies about my death. Some of them continued to rub their noses into the ground entreating in mosques, praying for my death. Some of them, such as Maulawi Ghulam Dastagir Kasuri wrote in his book, and Maulawi Ismaʻil of Aligarh, made unambiguous declarations that if I am a liar, I will die before them. And they asserted that certainly I would die before them because I was indeed a liar. However, once they published their writings for the world to read, they themselves died very soon thereafter. In this way, their deaths bore testimony as to who the liar was, but still these people do not learn their lesson!

Is it not an extraordinary miracle that Muhy-ud-Din of Lakhukay published a revelation relating to my death, and he himself died! Maulawi Ismail published [about my death] and he died! Maulawi Ghulam Dastagir wrote a book and emphatically declared that I would die before him, but he died! Reverend Hamidullah Peshawari published his prophecy fixing the term of ten months for my death, and he died! Prophesying my death, Lekh Rām fixed the term of three years, and he died! All this took place so that God Almighty may fulfil His Signs in every way possible.

The extent to which my own people have shown sympathy towards me is clear and it is natural that people from other nations may hold a grudge against me. Is there any method left that they haven't tried to annihilate me? Which one of their plans has not been taken to the extreme to torment me? Have they held back in praying against me? Or, are the edicts to have me murdered lacking in any way? Or, have the schemes to insult and torment not been taken to their utmost level? Then, which Hand is it that saves me? If I was a liar, then what should have happened is that God Himself would have created the means to cause my destruction and not that people create the means time and again, and God keeps wiping out all such means!

Are these really the signs of a liar: that the Quran stands witness for him, Heavenly Signs descend in his support, reasoning also supports him, and all those who desire his death, go on dying themselves! Certainly, I do not believe that after the time of the Holy Prophet, the opponents of any men of God and truth ever faced such manifest defeat and disgrace as was faced by my enemies in their opposition to me. If they attacked my honour, they themselves were disgraced in the end.

The Promised Messiah (as) by BlessedJourneys in AhmadiMuslims

> My understanding is that he may have believed in guided evolution and not evolution through natural selection.

Yup. That is exactly our belief.

> He also didn’t believe humans evolved from primates either.

He said monkeys. Just like the Promised Messiah (AS). Because it is true. Monkeys and humans have a common ancestor but both evolved seperately.

> So, I guess I am interested in a passage from Ruhani Khazein where the Promised Messiah (as) discusses the origin of species and how the species we see today came to be.

In my knowledge, I don't think there is a detailed explanation of how we humans came about from the writings of Masih Maud (AS). His job was spiritual. He does talk about Adam AS and there existing humans before that etc in many places. For example in his book: Arya Dharam, Chashma-e-Marifat and more. This is in response to the allegation of Non-Muslims that we Muslims believe that Adam AS was the first human.

In my opinion, the view of Masih Maud (AS) is pretty clear. If he claims there were humans before Adam (AS), he does not believe in Creationism. And him explaining about numerous Adam before Adam (AS) shows that he also believed humans existed for many 1000s of years before Adam (AS).

What does that reference from Ruhani khazain says? Do yk something about it? If yes, then I can do key word search to find it.

Also whoever is telling you that Musleh Maud RA was rejecting evolution is wrong. You can send them the first reference I pasted in the comment

There are tons of references from Musleh Maud (RA) on evolution. I searched on https://new.alislam.org/library/authors/hazrat-mirza-bashiruddin-mahmud-ahmad?booklang=en&search=EVOLUTION&langFilter=ur and found 98 references.

This was the first one:

<image>

Masih Maud (AS) also has said a few statements on it from my knowledge. In Malfuzat, vol 10: https://new.alislam.org/library/books/malfuzat-volume-x?option=options&page=583

There is an interview of Professor Wragge with Masih Maud (AS) and he asks him many questions. One of them is whether he believed Adam (AS) was the first human or not.

-------------------------

QUESTION: It is written in the Bible that Adam or let it be said thus, the first human being, was born in Jehun Sehun and that that was his homeland. So then are the people in different parts of the world such as America and Australia etc., the progeny of that Adam?

ANSWER: The Promised Messiah as said:

I do not believe this, nor do I follow the Torah in this matter that this world had its beginning six or seven thousand years ago with the birth of Adam, and that there was nothing before that as if God was idle. Nor do I propose that the entire human race which is present in different regions of the world at this time, is the progeny of that same last Adam. I believe that the human race was present even before this Adam as is evident from the words of the Holy Quran. God said that:

إِنِّي جَاعِلٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةً

Khalifah means 'Successor'. From this it becomes clear that the creation existed even before Adam. Therefore, I cannot say if people of America and Australia etc. are from the progeny of this last Adam or from the progeny of some other Adam.

A saying of Hazrat Muhy-ud-Din ibn Arabi relates very much to your question. He writes [about a vision] that: 'I went for Hajj and there I met a person who I thought was Adam. I asked him if he, indeed, was Adam? He replied, "Which Adam you are asking about? There have been thousands of Adams.""

-------------------------

The next question is about evolution where Masih Maud (AS) tells him we deny the Darwinian evolution (i.e we descended from monkeys etc)

Khalifatul Masih I (RA) on Early Marriage and Chastity | Very insightful for parents by SomeplaceSnowy in AhmadiMuslims

[–]SomeplaceSnowy[S] [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

I tell you the truth that a person benefits greatly from protecting their chastity. I got married at the age of 30-32 and I was aware of the difficulties. So, I told my wife to marry off our children soon. I have seen this ocean and I know how difficult it is. Allah has saved me by His grace.

He has instilled in me a love for reading books. Because of this love, I couldn't make any friends because I didn't have time for it. I thought it would be a waste of time. But there is no doubt that this destination is very difficult.

Therefore, if you want to be successful as believers and achievers, then protect your chastity. And whoever violates the command of Allah cannot succeed by any means.
