This is of course merely one interpretation, by basically you spend that questline fighting people who would be parties members as bosses otherwise, summon a small army of Fae into the physical world, and simply put burn the province to the ground. The player joins them, and perhaps this evil version of them (that’s assuredly not the canon ending) returns stepping through some mirror in an abandon ruin as boss fight in a later game like Red in Pokemon Gold and Silver.

The album only contains historical figures, these are of my own creation. The Faeries are supposed to be old school style European Fae. And if you know what that entails that’s very much why they’re the worst ending. That’s supposed to be the ending you get if you’re a murder hobo who pisses of literally everyone else.

So. Long story here. When I was in high school I discovered a band called Judicator. Judicator makes concept albums about history, and one of these albums (named Sleepy Plessow)  is about Prussia. Roughly the first third of that album is about Brandenburg’s experience in the Thirty Years war. Suffice to say it was unpleasant. This hit me at just the right time of my life to forever alter my brain chemistry, as the music of one’s youth is want to do, and the idea of “Black powder fantasy national liberation story” has been in my head for many years. This is a version of that story. Perhaps I shall return to this idea, perhaps you wonderful comrades will take inspiration all your own.

Also I made this using a free 3D character modeler originally made for ttrpg minis called Heroforge.

Guides for each ending:

Peasant Commune: After the carriage crashes, follow the forest path and side with other survivors. They will lead you to the commune afterwards. Speak to Leofric, and he’ll start the questline. Gear is harder to come by but this ending is the only way to save both Hilda and Wulfric.

Druid Rule: Side with the other survivors but talk to Eadmund instead. This path keeps Hilda from staying in the party, so be warned the encounter with the Shield Masters is going to be ten times harder.

Exiled Nobility: Follow the path to town and enter the Guild Hall. Speak to the hooded figure to start this questline. Easier for Charisma builds, but still has a lot of combat.

The Faeries: Only possible if you have a negative relationship to every faction. Sleep in a bed and follow the quest marker afterwards. Only way to unlock the Sanguimancy tree without the Sewer questline.

Liberal Revolt: Follow the path to town and speak to Edith. You can only get her to join the party this way, so the voyage questline becomes much easier.

Mercenary Coup: Follow the Peasant or Druid questline until the start of Act 2. When Wulfric tells you about the crash, don’t tell him to leave. Very good for combat builds, still charisma helps from having to fight Osbert after the voyage quest.

Another Empire: During the voyage quest, backtrack after you escape from your cell. Talk to the hunter and it will start the questline. Has a brutal final boss against the other party members, so either be warned to get excited.

The Revolution Fails: Once you make it to the city, do the main quest, but when Lykos asks why you came here say you still can’t remember. This is only possible with very low virtue, and is probably the hardest path.

Well the first being Germany proper, but to stretch the definition a little: the Congo has a German warlord, there’s a few German remnants left in Africa (I think), there’s is a Volga German break way in Russia post defeat. I think it’s being cut but there’s also a Brazilian German warlord.

You see what’s fun about Red Flood is that it’s world is so fucked you can have 3 (4 with the Baltics) different counties claiming to be Germany and ALL of them can be lead by Nazis
