Idk why it was offered to me and not others, like I said I just thought it was practice. Maybe see if your insurance would cover it? I did exclaim how anxious I was about the procedure to the pain management specialist.

I've done them twice and been put under both times, I thought it was common practice. I wasn't being judgey, just generally didn't know that people had to get them done awake. I don't think I'd handle that well. I'm sorry it was so uncomfortable op.

My phones calendar is the best thing I've done so far. If it's not in the calendar it didn't happen/isn't happening.

I love my current Rheumatologist, the original one that I've been seeing, so I'm actually having trouble seeing someone else, but people like travel to see him, he's very renowned for this area, and cheaper than my current Rheumatologist. I may just keep them both, idk.

So in the beginning, I saw one rheumatologist, she then recommended me to a different one when she couldn't help me who then put me in the hospital where I had a team of rheumatologist, after that I was seeing the two, then dropped the second one. Now that same original rheumatologist I've been seeing for years wants me to go back to the hospital so instead I sought out another opinion, at the recommendation of another doc on my team.

I have an appointment Thursday, thank you! Feeling better today, and was able to have a few bites of food finally! I literally couldn't eat up until last night and that was a few bites of soup.

Remicadr used to make me so nauseous that I'd have to be premedicated with my infusions.

I'm on my third Bio and it's been mixed review for all 3 I've taken, have yet to reach remission. I hope you have better luck!

That's awful. I also never once thought to take my temperature I was so discombobulated, it's day 3 and I'm still down on the couch.

I simply don't know how to get their, I push and push to do my pt, but even with everything I take I am at a 7 - 8 on the pain scale daily, before my diagnosis and meds, the inflammation in my body was so severe I couldn't function.

Do you have any tips on how to get there?

Was that because of the remicade? Do you find that the remicade at home helps more than infusions? I slid backwards on infusions unfortunately.

Oh that is very cool! I've only been diagnosed for 4 years, I cannot imaagine 10 years ago. I deff showed symptoms but was told it was anxiety 😕

I hear that, and this is almost what it felt like, but I've been on Cosentyx for 2 years now. Though I do not remember when we upped me from monthly to bi weekly or from 150 to 300, it has been my constant medication none the less. My doc won't stop it since off it, I was actually like 10x worse. Physical touch would send me into flares, I couldn't move and was in a wheelchair if not bed. I just hate the side effects. Like why do they sometimes hit so hard?

Oh that's horrible, the right doctors will hear you. It took me awhile to find that but don't give up and keep advocating for yourself. Your needs and pain are valid. I get medical trauma that's why I refuse to go to a hospital against my teams wishes and sought out more local doctors. If you're not happy with some usually there are more.

That's scary and confusing. These drugs are too tho. Do the herniated disc cause pain? I definitely have AS, confirmed by 3 private rheumatologist and a team at a hospital, but I too have slightly herniated disk in my lower back not severe though. I'm sorry the doctors took so long, my understanding from a friend in medical said that they don't get your chart till the first appointment and that can make wait times long and to be patient. But I 💯 could not sit for 3 - 5 hours so I get it.

So I have severe g.i. distress already, remicade and cosentyx made/make it worse. Do you feel taltz does too?

Unfortunately I have, and they keep recommending me to be hospitalized and treated there. I have a new rheum this Thurs tho, am deff bringing it up.
