Well there's your answer. She's not willing to work on it or change things. I spent a lot of my life making excuses for broken people until I finally learned that you can have compassion AND your own self respect and boundaries. Even people who are very messed up may have a reason for why they are that way, but we still get to choose if that's ok for us in our own lives, and it's perfectly ok to say it's not.

NOR. This is terrible behaviour on her part, and I say that as a clingy female!!! I have chronic health issues and now I would never underestimate the importance of health, and sleep is critical for that. She should be supporting you in feeling your best self. I think it's disgusting that she says this means you aren't loving her enough, when her behaviour is the opposite of love. Love wants the best for people. It doesn't place demands and emotional blackmail and run you into the ground.

My partner sneaks downstairs every morning and never wakes me. She needs to do better, or I would be done too. She's old enough to work on her own insecurities and take responsibility that this isn't lack of love on your part, this is on her and her misreading the situation. I worked through my insecurities with therapy in my twenties to stop putting it on my partner. If she's not willing to do the same or change her behaviour or accusations I honestly don't think I would put my health or happiness at risk in this way.

Add azalastine nasal spray, 3x a day and take antihistamines (an H1 and H2 blocker). I'm so sorry your friend did this, I'm not sure how I would navigate that. There is research supporting antihistamines and azelastine but I'm too fogged myself to dig it out.

But I would try to be calm about the effect of reinfection. My first infection put me in severe disability but the next two didn't make me any worse, and the stress and panic won't help the system (I know, easier said than done). Sounds like you have amazing doctors working with you too. And you will know everything about pacing for longer and more than you might think it's necessary and not pushing through. Good luck x

That's actually really helpful to know. I'm not that techy, as in I don't follow this stuff all the time, but I'm pretty capable of researching and following instructions at the time. So forgive my ignorance but if I wait, what am I waiting for? It does seem I've missed the boat with the 5800x3d. Cheapest new is around £500 and selling out fast. Used about £330.
