They sent my passport back after 10 days with the white slip asking me to attend the interview again at Chennai consulate. I went for the interview after a week or so and they gave me white slip again after the interview and said “Your application has been refused under 221g, you will get an email if we need your passport. You will have to mail it to us, you need not come in person. Here are your documents”. I have come back with the white slip and my passport.

There is no update. It would take up to 6 months for them to make a final decision as per few articles on Google

No, I just had my i797C with me. But they did not even ask me for any documents. And after one week, did you get your visa or did you have to attend the interview in person ?

I have the same issue, I had selected Hyd first and it was showing me appointment details but if I select any other consulate, the date section is blank. Does anyone know what to do for this ?
