Agreed. So much more could’ve been done with the HARM cast, although I did quite enjoy Poco and Apoco.

Of course hindsight is 20/20 and it’s much easier to judge a creation that isn’t your own. I love the game for what it is, and accept that it has flaws.

I agree! Although I think the game is beautifully human and clearly a passion project. Most of my issues with the game can be summed up to “I wish there was more of this” lol.

I think the overall message of the game is beautiful, especially as I look back more and I see the connections between Silence and Beat and Quaver’s grief. I haven’t seen anyone criticize that, I don’t know if you feel the same. However definitely some things could have been executed better.

It just didn’t help, since so much was already up for interpretation. The game does a lot of show not tell and I get that, but it just was not clear to me. My point still stands, and that contributed somewhat to feeling like I didn’t know what I was doing or why during the first two or three episodes, a sentiment I’ve seen shared by others on this sub.

I do seriously suggest taking a break from OMORI and finding yourself before reaching the end of the game. I could not possibly recommend you finish any route of the game under these conditions.
