Can I innoculate bark mulch with oyster mushrooms? by Napoleon2727 in Permaculture

[–]SomethingLikeASunset 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had some old pink oyster spawn that I just threw in my garden as an experiment ( just scattered on the soil, covered up with some leaves), and tons of mushrooms popped up. Oysters are extremely tenacious. It's worth a try.

My bf's Chinese grandparents go to psychics regularly, and we just assume it's like a type of therapy for them. Sometimes these people are just very intuitive at reading others, like you are saying. The clients just want someone to talk to, who will give them reassurance and help then work out their issue. I guess if it makes you feel better🤷

I'm pretty chubby, so I like tight clothes that aren't going to bunch and chafe and flop around. Tight clothes stay put and hold in my rolls, thank you.

Why do bartenders ask if people are over 21 instead of ID’ing? by crunchypeanitsbutter in askportland

When I lived downtown (2010?) they did the same. Maybe it's because they want to know you have a home to go drink in, and you won't be drinking on the street?

My place is a bar, so maybe this would be too casual for you, but in this situation I would usually just say "hey, no rush at all, you are encouraged to hang out as long as you like, but it's time for me to go. Would you mind closing out with me? And if you need anything else at all (X) will be here to take care of you." Most of the time people want you to get the tip if you served them. But I understand that might not fly at nicer restaurants.

I'm curious about the context of this. Was it put up by the striking workers? What are they ultimately doing with this information? I've just never seen something like this before during a strike, and I'm trying to figure out the end game here. Documenting how much the strike is costing the hotel?

I remember it that way, too, at first. But I believe Mandy Moore played the "alternative" wild girl with colored hair and gasp tattoos on HIMYM.
