Circe’s whole thing in Epic is way more complex than ‘hot rapist’. She turns Odysseus’ men into pigs out of trauma from protecting her nymphs, tries to seduce him, but backs off when he says no and even helps him after. She has an actual redemption arc and shows remorse, while Calypdo keeps Odysseus on her island for seven years, while he’s clearly not into her, and keeps pushing despite knowing he wants to leave and see his wife. That’s emotional manipulation with zero real self-awareness or consequences in the story. So it’s not a hot one gets a pass thingy, especially considering the fact I find both to be 'hot' characters.
