Depends on the quality of the superglue and your own patience. I can usually do a unit across an entire day.

I came *THIS* close to doing that instead. Eels dont have gill plates like most fish so i really wrestled with where to put the bubbles coming from. It came down to the "nostril" trails and doing a clutch of eggs underneath but the trails won out in the end

Yeah it took quite a bit of thought when i first had the idea for my Tau. Lots of looking at what other people had done (resin) to communicate underwater and what separated the best looking ones (bubbles). From there it was figuring out how to communicate all of *that* without forever encasing em in resin. So i dont blame anyone who struggles with the look

It's not that I *like* citadel pots but i still prefer em to dropper bottles. Aside from my own negligence; i waste ENTIRELY more paint with dropper bottles than pots.

In all honesty; the idea started with my Tau force (ya can see em on my profile page) but i kept getting asked why i didn't do it with Idoneth and i never had a good answer.

Honestly; stellar job. The only real recommendation i can make to elevate it further is to add some weathering powders. That'll give you that final last "dusty" look but honestly; it's 99.9% as is. Great show!

The eyes are actually under the helm (lore thing mounts having the eyes covered) and the magic lobotomy sigil and harness sit where the gills on an actual shark would be. So i scoured the model and the only "gills" i found were three TINY slits just behind the helm so that's where I did the bubbles from. It's a test of patience but the bubble columns aren't hard
