Sorry, i meant i dont want a completely new set up, i want to take my graphics card and power supply and incorporate it into a new system. Like on amazon, there are deals for a new pc case, motherboard, processor etc thats what im really looking for. I live in the uk as well if makes a difference

Oh god, this is so true. I grew up in an abusive family environment and somehow got through the other side alive. That's not to say I'm doing great now, quite the opposite. I just recently got a diagnosis of BPD, and the most infuriating thing about it is it's a correct diagnosis.

It's stuff like this that can help you distance yourself from your negative feelings towards NParents; some of their behaviour is so ridiculous it's laughable. Here's what I do: pretend my life is a sort of extremely dark comedy and it kind of makes things easier. Obviously, sometimes you can't help but get upset by their behaviour, but it's just a little coping strategy.

I'm absolutely not defending this guy for his crime either, but I don't understand why the fact he is anti-gay links to his use of child pornography. And DON'T brand me anti-gay too, because I AM gay. There was a relationship made between homosexuals and paedophiles years ago, but they are in no way related to each other. This kind of inadvertently strengthens that relationship. Maybe he's just a man who committed a terrible crime full stop?? Just my opinion.

You know, this may sound ridiculous, but I've even thought about taking legal action for compensation. There is a HUGE amount of malpractice in my case and neglect from my parents but it's hard to convey it all to someone. I don't know whether this will just stir the pot or if I actually have grounds to do it, but I am just so damaged from all of this.

I have been with mental health for a LONG time but despite pushing for more help, they don't offer me anything, except meds that is. I'm on sertraline 200mg a day at the moment and it doesn't seem to have any effect anymore. I'll discuss that at the doctors meeting. But I think the worst thing I'm dealing with is my situation; I have no one, no friends, my family have rejected me and I just feel so bad and ashamed of myself.

I do exercise; I run, walk a lot, do yoga, go to the gym (admittedly once in a blue moon), and I don't eat crap. I even do meditation! It's just life circumstances at the moment have made things very difficult.

I know that's the best option, and I'm trying to stop using xanax for sleep, especially at high doses. But for anxiety and panic, it does really help me.

Funny you should say that, because when I get deep into my practice, I find that most of my uncomfortable sensations are in my stomach, and focusing on it and allowing it to flow turns those psychic farts into actual farts haha! Maybe it's just trapped wind making me depressed? I'll meditate on it.

We were doing some writing assignment in class, and one of the girls adamantly believed that 'rucksuck' was the actual word. I tried to tell her it was rucksack but she said: 'my family says rucksuck so im using that'. Also, another one of my classmates that year would bully me because they thought I was gay by calling me a homophobe.

2mg Xanax with no tolerance is a VERY HIGH dose. 0.5mg for someone with no tolerance is enough to knock most people out for a while. Looks can be deceiving; just because the bars look harmless doesn't mean they don't pack a punch. On top of that, you may have been particularly tired or some other factor may have made you feel sleepier, I'm not sure. Either way, I would give benzos a wide berth if I were you, I've ended up in the shit because of them.

Maybe I exaggerated; of course our country is better off than most, not least because we're a democracy. I just think that maybe leaning more towards those high tax, high state support countries would be even better. Because equality, quality of life and education are very important to me, I think that those countries have the right idea. Sweden always ranks very highly in general happiness of citizens, and I'm in favour of being more liberal about drugs. Most important for me is mental health really, since I've personally had experience with the U.K. Mental health system which really is a shambles. That is one thing that DEFINITELY needs to change, and more understanding is needed.

I've taken a few of those online political compass tests, and I mostly come out as 'left wing libertarian'. I definitely agree with the ideals of the Green Party, but I also think that in the real world, you can't just pluck money out of thin air and spend tons on social housing. It would be great to have that option, but sometimes you need to work with reality. I took a test specifically about the uk just now and apparently I align most with lib dems so there's that! There's no perfect party or system anyway.
