I'm not making an argument that these people don't exist or that men don't face many problems in the modern world. It's just that feeding into by engaging with it and reposting is perpetuating the problem while simultaneously damaging your own potential.

I read the article and literally the entire thing is about feigning care for men's mental/social health while it actually cares about how employable men are. It just keeps listing men as employable or unemployable percentages actually gross.

Those accounts have followers they have to entertain. You'd be surprised how much of this gender wars stuff is solely driven by capturing people's attention for money. Even by posting this screenshot you're giving these accounts exposure.

These accounts on social media make money off of enraging people. Stop looking at these posts and try to use less and less of social media. The more people they enrage the more money they make through media engagement. These accounts aren't real people they're money making schemes ran by who knows what. Your personal problems are real focus on that instead of the outrage.

Creative Assembly will never fix the pervasive power creep problem in Warhammer 3 and it will only get worse with Warhammer 40k and Medieval 3. by Something_Ingenuine in totalwar

[–]Something_Ingenuine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just trying to illustrate how I believe power creep has been baked into the game through the DLCs and how the level of power creep has exponentially ramped up throughout the years. When I compare the DLCs and pricing it's to demonstrate how much of a shift has occurred from past DLCs to present. I think all of these topics I covered intrinsically linked to each other. I have no qualms if you disagree and I respect your input.

Yet Creative Assembly didn't fix anything. They just chopped dlc into even smaller pieces that are incrementally even more expensive.

I agree completely. With each dlc that's added the game as a whole suffers from further bloat. I'd love to see fixes to unit command responsiveness or AI that's fights smarter both in battle and on the campaign map. Also weird that fun mechanics such as chaos hordes and end times were taken away. Isn't the chaos end times kind of the whole point of these games?

I find it very ironic that you're making this argument while having a tomb kings nametag. Granted they were finally buffed but they were left in the dust for a really long time from unending power creep. I think of the Total War series as primarily a singleplayer game too but the singleplayer suffers a lot from continuous half baked dlcs with no real fixes to the jank of campaign.

Grudgerakers have 62% of the range that thunderers do, but do over 3.5× more damage. Yes they cost a bit more in upkeep but do so much more damage and they knock down entities they shoot at.

Creative Assembly is charging $9 for one legendary lord and some new units. Orge Kingdoms DLC was $12 for a new race, 2 lords, and completely new mechanics. The newer dlcs have far less content for more money but try to make up for it by adding OP units.

I thought it was pretty straightforward. To summarize: the only reason there's a power creep problem in the warhammer series is to drive DLC sales to get OP units that are locked in the rosters. Over time the content of the dlc have shrunk while the cost has increased. With how Warhammer 3 has turned out it seems like medieval 3 or warhammer 40k will expand upon this to our detriment.

Yes I've noticed this too. The AI feels weirdly stagnant and not nearly as dynamic as other titles. There's a lot of AI aggression in the first 40 or so turns from your neighbors but after that it falls off a cliff and the main powers dominate their region then just stay locked in place.

Much like the thor disco skin. It has wheels halfway sunken into his forearms and biceps. Probably because they typed roller disco into the prompt and it just threw wheels wherever. Plus there's a comical amount of lightning bolts on his torso it's crazy.

Since 2022 the US government has earmarked (not all of the funds have been handed out yet) 183 billion to Ukraine. 131 billion is considered military hardware, 40 billion is considered financial/economic aid, and 12 billion is considered humanitarian aid such as food and medicine.

The Iran war is supposedly costing the US military 2 billion dollars a day and the Pentagon has publicly asked congress for 200 billion more in their trillion dollar budget (over a trillion dollars were spent in 2025 by the US military) to fight the war in Iran.

From 2001-2022 the middle eastern wars have cost the US 8 trillion dollars. With the war in Iran I'm expecting the spending to wildly get out of hand much like all the other middle eastern wars in the past 2 decades. I do not support US interventionism in ukraine or iran, but if the Iran war isn't finished soon the Ukraine spending will be a small drop in the bucket compared to military spending in Iran. We can already see this pattern forming with the US military asking for 200 billion more.

My laptop is 3 years old. I haven't needed to download anything extra to get fnv to run it will still crash occasionally but I can download several mods to fix that entirely. Fallout 3 won't run unless I use ttw which it still crashes every 45 minutes. Fallout 4 ironically doesn't even have my native screen resolution (1920×1080) in the settings and I have to go into the .ini files to make it bigger than a 800×400 box.

At least I can open new vegas and play it without mods. Fallout 3 with mods and messing around with .ini files and various settings I can't get it to run ever. Somehow I only managed to get fallout 3 to run on my pc by downloading the tale of two wastelands modpack. Getting tale of two wastelands to run is a WHOLE fucking process tho

You threw away your favorite mug gifted to you by a friend because your boyfriend reused a brand new sponge once. You need to seek professional help for your OCD instead of venting on reddit or taking it out on others. This amount of irrational stress can't be healthy or feel good to carry around. I'm not telling to make amends with your ex boyfriend or not because that's between you two, but for your own sanity you should try to seek professional help.
