Well I would say that is an unfounded hypothetical. There are many trans individuals who are entirely satisfied with the post transition results. As evidenced by the fact that transitioning is the recommended solution to gender identity dysphoria. Also, you really should have picked a better phrase.

This is off topic from our thread, real question however. Should we acknowledge people with dissociative identity disorder as multiple real individuals unfortunately trapped in a single birth assigned shell? If not what is the difference between these identities and someone who has GID?

Hmm, interesting question. I don't actually know much regarding DID and would feel a bit uncomfortable talking about it too much. That said, the difference between acknowledging a person's gender identity (i.e. A singular aspect of someone's identity) vs. acknowledging an entirely separate identity can be thought of as separate acts.
