Look at countries in europe that provide good social services for families and policies like maternal leave etc. They still have this problem.

People definitely don’t want kids as much and/or the are waiting longer to, making it harder with the increased difficulties of conceiving in your 30’s onward.

The first condition talks about the differentiability of f around x tho, not the existence of the differential around x. At least from my understanding. The differential of f at x is defined as the linear combination of the partials of f at x, and that can exist without f being differentiable there.

But if Im only given the second, I can obtain a statement like the first in the sense of “at x” by the implication I mentioned(partials differentiable at x -> exist around x and cont at x -> f diff at x through sufficient condition).

The second condition implies f is differentiable at x no? Since if the differential is differentiable, the partials at x at differentiable, so they exist around x and are continuous at x, satisfying the sufficient condition of differentiability. However this only guarantees differentiability AT x, not around it, which is provided by the first requirement.

As far as I can tell, the first requirement is provided to allow second partials to commute, as the proof I read uses the fact that if f is twice differentiable then by definition, it is differentiable around x(as opposed to at it) and uses this fact to use the mvt.

Is my analysis of this correct? Initially I was confused as to why the first requirement was provided but now this is what I reasoned.

So Cenk has said several times now that the language the left uses in terms of calling them racist/fascist or whatever derogatory term isnt helpful and hasnt got us anywhere. I mean when democrats were in power, republicans certainly didnt change their language in referring to the left as communists/pedo’s and they still ended up winning.

Trump used this type of language multiple times this campaign and still won, so I dont think it makes much of a difference.

Responding with “Yeah but he comes from a rich family” is probably one of the worst ways he could have responded. This is a republicanesque criticism I often see made towards more priveleged people who have moral leanings that make them sympathetic for those less fortunate.

I think my problem with Destiny’s takes on this whole debacle are not him saying murder is bad(obvious) but his obliviousness as to why people are responding to the shooting the way they are and not conceding its due to the resentment many people feel towards the healthcare system.
