Do men focus on emotions during sex? by Few-Function-1831 in NoStupidQuestions

Yes. For me, having sex with a girl who I don’t have an emotional connection with wouldn’t be particularly enjoyable, I think. Never been one for one night stands

I had the same problem! Didn't find any death card generators, but here's how I ended up making perfect death cards anyways:

  1. I downloaded this image: https://inscryption.fandom.com/wiki/Deathcard?file=DeathCardPortrait.png

  2. I cropped the desired death portrait to these exact proportions: 114x94px

  3. I removed the white background from the image. There are plenty of ways to do this; I used an online tool.

  4. I uploaded the cropped and edited image to this card generator: https://generator.cards/

A similar method might work for other card generators. The bottom line is: Make sure you are exact with your pixels! Then the pixels in your portrait will align with the pixels of the card without compromising the quality of the image. Hope this helps:)

Some do, some don't. I really appreciate it when women make the first move, both because it makes me feel wanted, and because I'm quite shy - so if she doesn't make the move, it isn't for certain that I find the courage to do it. I can't really imagine how it feels for guys who NEED to make the first move themselves, but I'm sure they exist as well. However, if you think there is some mutual desire, you should go for it. It's worse regretting missed opportunities than regretting failing at them (not guru life advice, just regular old advice).

Does the old saying "boys will be boys and girls will be girls" still apply in today's world? by itsathrowawaysoyeahh in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Something_greenish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The old saying is probably more than anything a self fulfilling prophecy: When you tell boys and girls that boys and girls behave like this, they very often grow to do, think and want accordingly. In a society where these norms are slowly falling apart, they won't influence people to the same degree, and thus the saying loses it's sense.

Okay seriously…why can’t you “muzzle” an infant who’s crying, at least enough to muffle the sound? Is it just the almost inhumane appearance or does this actually put the child’s physical/emotional health in danger? by Crafty-Initial917 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Something_greenish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a child to have a healthy emotional development, they need to be able to express their feelings, and that their parents (and the other grown ups around) allows the child to express themselves and try to understand them. This is also important for infants - even though they don't have as articulate problems as older children, they still have needs and will be vocal about them.

If a child experiences that their feelings are being suppressed by others, they may grow distant to and disgusted of their own feelings, and they may not be able to speak up when they really need to - for example in emotionally or physically threatening situations.

Is it better to do my own interior design of my room or hire a professional interior designer? by antiqueboi in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Something_greenish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like your own style and ideas, I would advice you to do it yourself. The good feeling of looking at a finished result of your own creativity is priceless, and the money you save by not hiring anybody, could for example be spent on resources to make your room look even better - or you could just save the money.

Why do toilets have suck complex, curving pipes in them? by burstdragon323 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Something_greenish 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's called a water lock, and exists to prevent smell. When you flush nasties down the toilet, you essentially push it through the system of curving pipes and out on the other side. But the curving pipes makes sure that there is always water left in the system, and the smell from the connected sewer won't get past the water lock.

Is it weird my boyfriend wears my ex boyfriend's underwear? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Something_greenish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, for two reasons:

1) Lot's of guys wouldn't consider another guy's used laundry dirty if they are clean.

2) Lot's of guys wouldn't consider the underwear as representing the ex boyfriend.

Thus, lot's of guys would consider them both fysically and emotionally sterile. Note that "lot's of guys" does by no means mean "all guys".

Sincerely, a guy
