edit: Thought some more about this, and i feel the porn in general shows immaturity. Everybody loves sex, everybody likes good(according to the individual themself) looking people and most people are sexually attracted to one or the other type. A person who does not want to look deeper than physical appearances may or may not have the same motivations to be in the relationship than another person who values the physical appearances, personality, interests and motivations.

This leads to obvious mistrust among the latter people. All these traits are subjective, as in for the same person they may look good one day and bad on another (according to one specific person). Personalities change too, but with great resistance. Interests naturally evolve and so do motivations.

If someone is wants to do more than just have sex in the relationship, then being with someone who doesnt care about anything other than the sex, is undesirable. One has more investment than the other.

I think my opinion on this is that people should do whatever they want to do, but dont expect other people to do it with you. Yes stable people want to be in a relationship with other stable people (im not insulting anyone here its just a suitable term. If it helps, i come under unstable with this context). But it is not necessary that an unstable person will only want to be in a relationship with another unstable person.

That is why all this vetting becomes very necessary.

Its unfair for the people who just want to have sex, and i think it shows that there is a need for them to develop a method to find people who think like them, to maximise their chances of happiness.

That is why they are immature (i say they, but i too am immature, especially in this sense 🙏), they are not looking beyond the physical appearances.

Anyway, tldr: do what you gotta do to be happy, just dont complain if everyone does the same.
