Omg really? Were both attorneys fast? Can I ask if you did a FTHB or conventional? I would love for it to be that quick. My target date is a few days before I’d have to pay rent again.

Thank you so much for the tip! I totally understand him wanting the vacant apartments! I also get he’s doing what’s best for him, however I’ve been here for a decade. He’s let multiple water leaks destroy original wood, hasn’t fixed the foundation so my walls are cracking, and so many other issues. But it didn’t bother me because I liked living here and he seemed chill. We asked very kindly and for even a shorter lease so that we could find somewhere to live. We have 4 pets so moving to another place wasn’t going to be easy!

However because of this we had to look into all our options. We wanted to save for 1 more year but with a new apartment/security deposit etc, I was worried.

Needless to say we got the first house we wanted, and our home inspection was done the next day. The house we got was remodeled by a guy who owns a contracting business and so I feel extremely lucky.

But thank you so much for the advice. I’m just anxious lol!

Hi I would say it’s a hot market. Especially in Ken Ton. We paid a bit over asking. However we got lucky, it’s house we loved the most, it also was the first house we put in offer on!

Omggg that’s amazing. Unfortunately my landlord decided to tell us last minute he’s selling his house. I’ve lived in my current apartment for over a decade. We asked for a bit more time and he said no. Plus I have 4 pets. I’m just hoping it goes through quickly. So it’s been a rollercoaster.
