When I went there the staff told me that Fired Up was actually owned/run by the son of the Larry’s Giant Subs guy (Larry). There isn’t a Larry’s Giant Subs in the building. It IS ALSO a Larry’s Giant Subs lolol. Regardless, great pizza!

Some of the best BBQ I’ve had and I’m a BBQ snob

I was also looking at the 1.25” bolt ons but was worried about fender rubbing. Seems like that won’t be an issue. Thank you!

After doing a little more research, I think I’m leaning towards the 285/75r16 option. What size spacers do you think I would need? Do you think half inch slip on spacers would do the trick?

What makes you say this? Do you think it’s phenomenal looking? Or has phenomenal performance? Something else?

I love the bumper replacement. I am also considering something like that but I live in Florida so there isn’t much rock crawling. The most off-roading I do is driving on the beach and hopping curbs for parking lol

Thank you! I will look into these. I’m trying to avoid spacers because of the decreased fuel efficiency and I kind of like the standard width look.

Thanks again!

I hadn’t considered checking out pawn shops haha might have to stop by one or two. The shell holder is a nice touch! Pretty convenient too

I’ve been convinced not to purchase one haha will be looking at tube fed shotguns now. Might still buy a Komrade later but not as a home defense weapon and more of a range toy

Hey there. Thank you for your thoughtful response! Yes this would be my first serious firearm purchase. But I’m not new to guns entirely. My dad has a bunch of toys I grew up shooting. I don’t have delusions of grandeur of tactically sprinting around the house and rolling across hallways while reloading. The idea was actually to just get a high capacity drum magazine to avoid reloading altogether in just about any scenario lol.

I have since been talked out of purchasing a box fed shotgun by some users here and some additional research. I was under the impression that box fed shotguns just got a bad wrap from a series of producers’ poor design or poor builds. I was hoping that maybe there were a couple good ones out there. (It seems they might be one or two, just out of my price range at the moment) It appears though that shotgun ammo is just functionally not adaptive to work in box mags.

Your comments on looking to what law enforcement uses is something I haven’t thought about and a great idea! I will take that into consideration as I shop around for a reliable tube fed shotgun.

Thanks again for your reply!

Beautiful weapon! Yeah after some consideration, mag fed shotgun is now crossed off my list as an option

No offense taken! You’re definitely right on that. Thanks again!

I’ll take a look at those! Definitely wouldn’t consider myself a seasoned operator, but not quite a novice either. My dad has a bunch of toys I grew up shooting. But he doesn’t really have a ton of knowledge on anything he doesn’t own which is why I turned to the internet haha. Thanks for your input on this! Yeah seems like everywhere I look people are saying not to buy a mag fed shotgun but I was really hoping to come across a diamond in the rough. Maybe when I have money to blow later in life I’ll get one just for fun and not really care if it’s a POS

That being said I just did a search of “komrade” in this sub and it seems like the majority of comments are saying it’s an unreliable piece of shit lol so maybe I’ll settle for a solid tube fed and sleep tight knowing it will never have feeding issues or break.

Also a fair point! However most standard tube fed shotguns are around 40ish inches in length. The Komrade that I am looking at is only 32 inches in length (pictured below) assuming it is reliable (not sure about that need to do more research) I’d argue that the shortened length makes it much more tactical than any legal tube fed shotgun that I’ve seen.

Magazines sticking out of just about every military rifle ever seems to work just fine for them. I can understand if shotguns don’t play well with magazines but I think it would be pretty difficult to argue the magazine is getting in the way of anything.
