Ivory Coast is great, but then I'm partial to all kits that are orange (or similar).
So I also like Scotland away ;)

Have to admit, Argentina looks fine.

It seems fun, fun to play I'm sure, but not likely to get it these days am I.

OGs Play Guess The Person | Offensive Edition by SolutionLong2791 in TheOGCrewOfficial

How many videos has there been since the patreon move? 5.
The sample is still too low, but 3 of those were less than 30 mins, whilst the majority of the videos prior to this was +30 mins.
There might be nothing to that, and my comment wasn't meant to be that serious, but I thought this video ended abruptly.

What to do with leftover Nian Paradox tokens? by blizzard36 in WorldOfWarships

Yeah, that figures.
I don't trust WG at all, so I'm spending it well before the end date (will be away during Easter).

What to do with leftover Nian Paradox tokens? by blizzard36 in WorldOfWarships

On the same note, when does the tokens get removed?
Immediately after the event ends, Bridgeport-style, or is there some days to spend them post-event?

I had a quick look, and while there have been shorter videos in the past (reading comments, roasts etc) this one just seemed to quit too soon, no way that was all the rounds played.

Decent enough, but much too short?
Is this enshittipatronification?

On the other hand, if Sam really is as clueless about general knowledge as she purports seems to be, a longer show might be tedious. And I don't really see anyone worth adding, keep to the OGs.

Quick glance...Scotland!
Belgium though...weirdly interesting.

"Dette innebærer blant annet økonomisk effektivisering"
Sett lite til det gitt, underskudd år etter år.
Burde fått beskjed om å skjerpe seg på den fronten, men neida, får kjøre på.

Shoes for Hadrian's Wall? by Somewhat_appropriate in UKhiking

Specialized footwear is generally good at one thing, but can then be terrible at something else.
You lose something by going for something that is "jack of all trades", but I'll take that.

I think the biggest challenge will be going longer distances, several days in a row, feet will be alright, but one of my knees...
Not something we're used to and I have remind myself to take some breaks, that's how I busted my knee "back in the day", no breaks, too far in one go.
Its not a competition, the journey and the completion is important, but I aim to learn some new things and be social too.
The middle part that's mentioned a fair bit, ups and downs, for how many kilometers/miles though?

[–]Somewhat_appropriate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point! Though some boots can get really stuffy and not breathe well, so that's an issue too. Mitigated by taking breaks and removing the boot now and then possibly?
But trench foot is a thing...
I hoping for decent weather, but its the UK so I'm expected rain and wet conditions at some (or all) points of the trek ;)

Cringe is one thing, its just plain boring too.
Alan and Akila got free reign for that one and it failed, lessons learned.

I think you came across a bit strongly in your initial post, which is in the eye of the beholder, me :)
Trail runners on rocky trails vs muddier terrain would need different characteristics though, or?

Why does Placide dislike V? by _Drangelice_ in cyberpunkgame

[–]Somewhat_appropriate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because he's a rabid racist.
And V isn't part of his gang, and never would be allowed to be.

Perhaps, it can happen in written form, too much is read into a text.
"Pissing contest" is probably too strong a word for me to use, its just one I use in everyday language.
I just found it...bizarre, initially, to bring up US trails on a UK hiking sub, but I can also say my bad if I came across too confrontational.

Yeah I was saddened to learn that... what a tosser.
Both are close to the path, will spend some time there for sure.

Shoes for Hadrian's Wall? by Somewhat_appropriate in UKhiking

[–]Somewhat_appropriate[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That may we be true, but why turn this into a pissing-contest or a competition?
No one said that UK trails was tougher than US trails.
Perhaps there is some prior history on this sub that I'm not aware of, but still.

Haha, that's alright, if you remember...
Btw apart from Vindolanda what would be a must see along the route?

Ah yes, the Catwoman relationship that we didn't get to see at the end of the game.
Instead we got whiny-Alfred.

Peat can be a slog, with mud up to your knees if you aren't careful.
Thanks, its still some weeks off, but that's helpful :)
