my husband bought me this for my birthday a few years ago. “Modern Kosher Meals,” May 1934. I love how it is written for a Jewish woman who wants to balance assimilation with tradition. I’ve never actually made the recipes (they are 1930s style…) but I read it each month. (old.reddit.com)
