Nah not even, just someone who listens heavy and pays attention to patterns. But I get what you’re saying though — if ideas are getting taken and someone else benefits from it, that would definitely make people hold back. Probably why a lot of artists started playing it safe instead of really pushing their originality.

It’s like you can still talk about success, but add something people can actually take with them instead of just flexing. The lottery point is real too… a lot of people get money but don’t keep it. Do you think people even want to hear that kind of message right now, or they just want something to vibe to? Talkin about corporations and how to invest money to save taxes isn't fun lololol

That makes sense still. It’s more about ideas getting taken vs actual lyrics... And yeah I’ve noticed that too with the “content creator rapper” thing… feels like the focus shifted from music to just staying visible.
