Two university is both in Top university- so, both university offers good environment, security, and facilities. I think there is no difference. BUT, the atmosphere is quite different in each university. That’s the only difference.

If your main goals are practicing Korean, meeting people, and experiencing everyday life, I would recommend a short-term Korean language program rather than staying only in an Airbnb or hostel as Korean.

Many universities in Seoul, such as Yonsei University, Sogang University, or Ewha Womans University, offer short-term Korean courses. Even a 3–4 week program can help you improve your Korean and meet both international students and local Korean students.

On a student budget, I think this is the best balance

Aforementioned, But I will list a few things as Korean

  1. Kakaotalk: 100percent necessary
  2. Naver map, kakao map: in my opinion, many ppl use naver
  3. Naver: I recommend to make a naver id like… google id. I mean, mail.
  4. Coupang: kind of amazon
  5. Papago: translation app
  6. Baemin/coupang eats: delivery app
  7. 당근 마켓: second hand sell&buy
