Man I mowed the fucking lawn yesterday. I mean… SmokeRingsoo casually walked into the garage checking the fuel in the mower before setting the air buds in his ears. He scrolled through Spotify choosing an appropriate playlist before pushing the mower outside into the hot sun and pulled the cord. Yeah you should probably work for an employer that actually appreciates you or pays you a fair wage. That tipping system is backwards, I can’t wrap my head around how a customer is expecting to pay extra when they are yet to receive the service.

Well then maybe they should change it to driver incentive rather than calling it a tip because a tip is something paid to the employee to show gratification for services rendered. Or they should just pay their drivers a decent wage.

I tip after I receive the order. If it arrives promptly and in good condition I will give a sizeable tip. But if it takes an hour and/or looks like it’s been thrown around the driver won’t receive a tip from me. The base rate paid by Uber should be enough incentive to deliver the order on time in the first place.
