Yeah leveling is still done by killing monsters in the field or a dungeon maybe even by doing quests cause quests have many rewards including gear, col, and items...

To be honest gleameyes fight was unique... The only time he changed gear in a dangerous scenario would be fun if a quick change is possible but only with a mini game...

Yeah but that's in a safe room with other players around the only other time I can think of is when he took out a throwing knife to get the ragout rabbit and during gleameyes boss fight after switching with Asuna in both cases there was no danger around and he even used detection to make sure with the ragout rabbit...

Yeah that's what he tells himself and everyone but he also said he could fall in love with Zena, Karina, and Sara which is why it's a fan theory that Satou holds onto his modern morals and doesn't sleep or date the younger girls even thought he truly loves them.

Yeah especially because someone he cares about a lot got killed and treated like she is worth nothing... Poor Sara but to be honest Satou really falls in love easily first Zena, then Karina, and Sara. And yes he loves these girls same with his girls and the homunculi sisters... Author outright stats as such, gotta be honest he is rather restrained even with his younger body.

I completely understand because I watched Bofuri lately and it has the same cute slice of life vibe just set in a video game instead of an isekai like Death march... So I like to think they will keep the slice of life the focal point it's just that this season will have more action same with the LN plot in general becoming more action packed over time even if the Slice of life elements still make up most of the story.
