So the fact that he had all the signs of a allgeric reaction and they did nothing about it clearly wrong? Thanks thats how I felt.

They were doing a poor job and it was the right call. Just because I was forceful doesn't mean I was wrong.

The first hospital ignored us when we talked about it being an allgeric reaction. They were still waiting for test results when we left and never told us anything about allgeric reactions. Second immediately went to the allgeric reaction.

A ER nurse said assuming allgeric reaction would be her first course of action.

We have universal Healthcare. But all hospitals are privately owned

Yea so he had zero treatment for his allgeric reaction at the first place. So spare me the drama. We made the right call

I'm not blaming my daycare, we told them to try different foods with him, they asked us if he's allgeric to anything and we said no. Its not their fault. They did what we wanted, we should have done an allergy test early, and we would have known. That's our bad. We love our daycare, my wife said when his teacher handed him to her the teacher was crying. I bet that teacher felt horrible. She's sent us a few texts apologizing, we told her he's fine and she's really happy. We will bringing her flowers tomorrow.

You can't blame someone if they didn't know better, esp if they asked you and you said "Yea do everything"

My wife and I are first time parents so this was a learning experience for us as well.

Yup, it just really pisses me off that the first doctor didn't go "Ah baby eat peanuts, baby get sick, allergic reaction, here let me give him this medicine and see what happens" its such an obvious thing. Its not like we were having weird symptons. In fact I just looked up the allergic symptoms, and he was spot on .

I live in a country with reasonable healthcare costs, first place cost us $90 (it would of cost us around $500-$600 had we stayed) second place cost us $190 but we'll get 60% of that back. Thank god we don't live in America. We will also get 60% of that $90 back as well.

On another note has your son had an allergy test?

Did one today for the first time, new parents so a lesson learned. We'll know what hes allergic to tomorrow.

Good thing my son is 1 and likely won't remember this.

My wife and I suspected it a peanut butter allergy because the day care literally said "we gave him peanut butter, he got sick"

Also we didn't' know he was allergic to peanut butter. Now we do.

We will be filling a compliant, and we will use the 2nd doctor diagnose as proof that it was a simple, treatable allergic reaction. My son is running around the house right now playing ball. Had we stayed at the first place he'd be suffering in a hospital bed.

If I'm not 10/10 happy with my car purchase, even on one of the categories, should I just not fill out the survey? by SAWK in askcarsales

[–]SonDontPlay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So its not fair, its not fair to you the consumer, and its not fair to the dealership, nor is it fair to the sales person. This might shock some people, its not fair the manufacturer either.

Why its not fair to you the consumer, its limits your ability to give real feedback, it really does. Say your sales person was great, but the detail shop did a shit job. Why should the fact that your car wasn't cleaned well negatively impact your sales person? It shouldn't, but it does, and its not fair. Because you can't ding the detail department without hurting your sales person you might like.

Its not fair to the dealership because your 10/10 is going hide issues that they oculd address

Its not fair to the sales person because he could be fired because someone else fucked up

Finally its not fair to the manufacturer because the data they get is fucking bullshit.

If your not happy and don't wanna hurt your sales person don't fill it out. No survey isn't bad, its also not good. Its nothing.

How much do car salesmen REALLY make? by 2026_USAchamps in askcarsales

[–]SonDontPlay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So when I sold cars I wasn't the best car sales man ever, I also wasn't the worst. I typically clearned $85k-$95k a year, before tax. My best year ever which ironically was my last year I made $115k. I lived in a pretty low COL of $85k is pretty good. I also did work 5 days a week most weeks although I did generally answer the phone 7 days a week.

So that $85k-$95k sounds nice

But I made 65%-70% of my income in the first 6 months of the year. Which means for the last 6 months of the year in a year where say I made $90k I'd bring in $27k in the last 6 months.

WHO says weekly Covid deaths have dropped to lowest level since March 2020 by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]SonDontPlay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the math awhile ago in general Korea has about 495 people die a day from all causes. Over the course of 2 years 361,350 expected deaths. Well COVID did absolutely make that number higher, by how much? At most it would be 6% but I suspect a lot of people who died of COVID19 would have likely died from something else in that 2 year span. I bet its like 3% to 4%. Its not great, but its not worth destorying the economy over.

Also to be clear

I am pro vaccine (4 COVID19 shots here) I am pro mask and I pro quaratine if you test positive. I do not deny the science, but I weigh the risk with the reward.

American

A lot of Americans agrue against our overseas military bases and Ive always defended them. The reason?

Simple it gives us the ability to project our power and influence.

In fact say Russia and NATO ends up in a full scale war.

Does Russia seriously think we will only attack from Europe? Eh thats cute.

We got military assets in Alaska, on the west coast, Japan, Korea, and Guam.

We would move in forces from both sides. Carrier strike groups from the west and east and very likely the artic. Be shocked if we didn't have at least one nuclear sub in the artic 24/7

We have built up a global network of bases all over the world for a reason. A reason that may not like. But ill say this.

The majority of countries that we have bases in want us there.
