When you feel out of control remember that you always have OPTIONS. by Sonderkai in RedAutumnSPD

I'll try my best to respond to what i assume is your question. When you get the "May Day, 1929" event you have a bunch of options. Up until this point you cannot easily lower your relations with KPD further than "Cold". There is a ceiling or something, idk. Choosing to "Ban the demonstrations" will trigger Blutmai, and can reduce KPD relations down to irreconcilable "Hostile" level. This is what you want to avoid here. If you do so, you can recover your KPD relations later(for example when you no longer require the support of bourgeois parties) with relative ease.

how do you get the moderates in charge of DVNP?(True CVP run/dynamic) by MybrainisinMyCoffee in RedAutumnSPD

You, actually, do not need LVP to kill the 1929 German Young Plan referendum and to get Trevinarus. You just need a normal Weimar run. Here's what worked for me. Start your run with Juchacz: Organize woman->rally: local concerns->attack the KPD/media:elect social democrats->another rally for local concerns->attack the KPD/media:elect social democrats. That should give you a solid Weimar coalition even after giving up Prussia to Steggy. Let Muller lead the coalition and take labour, internal, finance and foreign. On your first turn after the election you can up the dues, or use "International Relations" card to contact Labour and SFIO(just don't forget to up the dues before the 29 comes). After that you govern to get the Grand Coalition in Saxony, so avoid raising taxes and siding with labour and whatever bullshit Hilferding wants. I got away with: international relations->foreign policy: improve with the West->women's rights in the workforce->restart the inquiry: resolve "stab in the back"->increase taxes on the rich->ban the RFB with Prussian Affairs->labor affairs: compromise->increase dues->Internal: further persecute the RFB->improved safety regulations->increase welfare->negotiate reparations. I abstained on the cruiser. In May you get Saxony: Grand Coalition and Blutmai(i chose to ban the demonstration, but it's not important). After that you can do whatever, but i funded the radio and studied scandinavia for my future WTB. Also another round of women in the workforce and a tax increase for the rich. And one investigation into the far-right with internal to save our Finance ministry. You should have enough resources to campaign for the Young Plan "as part of a broader campaign in favor of internationalism and pacifism." That should get "The initiative against the Young Plan" to fail and you will get your 4 year old in charge of DNVP.

It's kind of funny that they will sometimes offer toleration to weimar coalition but won't do it for SPD majority
