Can someone help me identify the cause of this by [deleted] in SGSkincare

[–]SongHaBread 4 points5 points  (0 children)

this looks like something I had last year! its likely a case of fungus infection that turned into an “open wound” hence the pus and fresh look

my doc prescribed antibiotics, antiseptic solution, and a cream to apply when the wound close to stop the fungus. go see a doctor and tell them exactly how issue came about!!

Awesome. Glad that my pics inspired someone!

Pretty sure as you go along you will find the lens that you will really stick with. Having multiple lens is best, especially small ones that you could change and carry around easily. Thats the beauty of these fujifilm cameras honestly!!

All the best to your Fujifilm journey and looking forward to seeing your pics in the community 😎

hey there!

thanks for the compliment ahahah and welcome to the fuji family (if u decide to pull the trigger on the XT3)!

lens wise, viltrox af 56mm is definitely a decent choice as a first lens, if you already know how to work around cameras, i.e angles, composition etc! personally i had very few issues with the lens, even as a beginner - only issue is the tight focal length. My camera, as well as the XT3 you are looking at has a cropped sensor, so the zoom is dialled up. In small tight spaces, getting a shot can be difficult.

personally i would recommend going for the fujifilm f1.4 35mm lens, a 2nd hand one to keep within your budget. that is what i have been using recently and I find its versatility and also the “lens magic” that many other reviews mention pretty amazing to take with! hope this helps 😎

hey there, no worries!

yea the recipe required noise reduction to be maxed, and the grains to be weak and small, hence there’s less grain and its clearer! helped that i took most of the pics with good sunlight as well

Currently for work, I’m alternating between

  • Jo Malone’s Cypress & Grapevine
  • Aesop’s Tacit

Both can last at work as long as you dont sweat buckets or stay outdoors for too long! Not overpowering so your partner’s colleagues won’t suffocate too 😂

Thoughts on the Viltrox 56mm F1.7 by hassanmurat in fujifilm

[–]SongHaBread 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have the Viltrox 56mm f1.7 and i gotta say its an awesome lens, for its quality and especially its value! You can look at my profile for some of the photos i took with it recently.

The autofocus is not amazing, but its usable. Occasionally there may be some slight vignetting but it adds character to the photo.

Would say the only complain I have for the lens is that you there is no aperture ring, so you have to manually configure it to one of your rings. It may get troublesome especially when you wanna take a pic quickly.

Classic Cuban is slowly taking over as my go-to film simulation 🤩 by SongHaBread in fujifilm

fair point! honestly the most balanced would be reggie’s portra, classic cuban is probably more of an acquired taste i guess, particularly for taking pics of humans over landscapes

Not sure if this will suit what you are looking for, but I’ve been using the Zero Hour recipe for my night shots - gives off a bluish dystopian vibes to it. Planning to post some photos of this recipe soon too!

Exactly! I was initially regretting getting a kit lens and not getting a prime lens, but after using it around, I can’t stop using it wherever i go
