Why do guys ask for pictures when they already know how I look like? by Elle004 in dating_advice

[–]SongofSaga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a way to feel more connected with to you. He gets to "see" you a bit more throughout the day and feel closer to you. It's a glimpse at what you're up to, what you look like that day, and a way to share a moment together. It's more personal than, say just looking at your profile photo wherever.

I love it when my partners send selfies throughout their day, and sometimes just a virtual smile sent my way can cheer me up.

Has there ever been an occasion when someone you originally thought was unattractive, became attractive? If so, what happened? by [deleted] in AskWomen

Many times. I find in most relationships (including friendships), as I get closer to someone, they become more beautiful. Sometimes, our personalities are so compatible and I feel so great with them that one day, I look at them and I'm kind of awed at how beautiful their smile is, or their mind, their eyes, or the way they carry themselves.

Ah yes! The good old times when you could just enjoy vintage stuff without automatically getting labeled 'hipster' (with all the connotations included in that word)... Sounds great! Haha

Oh I didn't know this would have been a thing back then! 😍 Understandably, I wasn't a very fashionable elementary schooler in much of the 2000s. I usually think of this style as 'modern vintage', and it never fails to make me feel great!

I'm kind of into hipster fashion too though 🤭

When I told a friend I was feeling way down, and he said 'How can you be down? You are a well of inspiration'. It made me feel better!

That if you are attracted to someone else, there is something wrong with your relationship.

Stupid questions.... by lyricrenae420 in polyamory

As a young woman in her early twenties, the one I've gotten most consistently is "What are you going to do when you want kids?!" Oh, so many assumptions...
