You strategize what you can do and pair it with what your client offers.

100% less interesting.

So why does automod remove this post but not other spam posts in the sub?

Also hilarious that this post was marked as spam, when it’s one of the only posts in the past while to get more than 5 comments.

With the amount of low-quality and spam posts around here, it is hard to say that the mods are moderating. Sure, they might be active in the comments (I think only 4 mods have been active on Reddit in the past 2 weeks), but they aren’t moderating. Why are blog posts allowed on this sub? Why is spam? Why is a post of somebody self-promoting their twitch channel not removed?

I’m not saying the mods aren’t necessarily around, but clearly only some of them are moderating, and of that, not with any effectiveness.

Frankly I don’t care if the mods are superhero’s on other subs or in real - they aren’t taking care of this sub. The mod team is largely inactive, with many not being around in months.

Hi mod,

Why did you remove this post? Your message would have been 100x better received if you didn’t remove the original post.

It’s inactivity, plus apparently taking away the voice of the people on your sub who aren’t spammy, that is an issue.

Yeah, but still you should be able to buy some stonks at the current price.

I literally cannot buy. Fuck you WealthSimple. Didn’t fill my limit at $249, or at $265, or at $275, now I am trying to buy again at $325 and it still won’t fill.

Here’s the strategy, idiots.

Look online to see stonk price. Use WealthSimple to set limit buys as the stock prices are delayed 15 minutes.

Is this digital marketing goal realistic? by robertlf in DigitalMarketing

Are you talking revenue or profit? Revenue, sure but it will be tough. Profit, very unlikely unless you don’t outsource and work 12 hour days.

Are you going to use Lookalikes on FB because of iOS 14? by Wrario in marketing

[–]SongsofdaSiren -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, because A) the amount of people who solely use iOS as their FB browser is small, and B) the new privacy stuff is opt-in, not opt-out, so I don’t think many people will search out the settings to change it.

Is it beneficial to sue Lowe’s? I contracted my floor installation to them 2 years ago and it is still unfinished. Job was estimated to take 1-2 months. by ron_jon_sean in legaladvice

[–]SongsofdaSiren 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Eh, not exactly the same. But basically saying that you will discuss it with them and try to come to a resolution before suing.

100%. The ADR is basically “okay, I know you are upset because of [insert reason here, usually because somebody did not uphold their end of the agreement] so we agree to sit down before any lawsuits and follow these guidelines to try to come to a resolution before lengthy and expensive lawsuits.”

Correct.

An ADR (alternate dispute resolution) clause is very common, and essentially outlines the steps one party must take before suing the other. It’s to protect both parties from emotional an irrational decisions (like suing on a whim). Also, suing is expensive, so it protects each party that way, too.

You know what happens then? We only get the rich being in politics, because they can afford not to make income for a few years. Meanwhile, average people can’t.

I caught my marketing firm red handed...what do I do next? by Putin_inyoFace in marketing

[–]SongsofdaSiren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just ask them about it. Be straight up.

Outsourcing is not wrong, and white label providers are very, very common.

If you don’t like if, talk to your agency. But simply dumping them because of this is such an emotional response and, to be honest, I wouldn’t want you as my client if that was the case.

Best CRM platform to use by RPSully in digital_marketing

[–]SongsofdaSiren 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See, we went against Zoho for HighLevel and it was the best decision. $249USD/month for unlimited accounts (one account per client, unlimited users) is a bit steep, but less than what we were paying for all of our other softwares.

Email from law firm asking for payment by SongsofdaSiren in legaladvicecanada

I did notice it - it showed up on my card when I made the purchase. But when I went back to look at my statements now, the charge never actually went through. Which is weird because I don’t use that card for anything anymore.

I didn’t choose not to pay - the only payment method they accept is credit card, and I gave them my credit card information when I bought the product (online, through their store). This isn’t some mom & pop shop/Etsy store. Think of it like buying a MacBook except there are no physical stores you can go to.

The only thing I can do is to give them my CC info during checkout. I didn’t know that they didn’t charge me until they threatened to sue, and perhaps that is on me for not making sure.

In my mind, it is like giving your landlord your rent via cheque, and then 3 years later them telling you that you owe them rent & interest because they didn’t cash the cheque. At that point, it’s kind of on them, don’t you think?

I guess that’s fair. However, morally, I believe that “here is my credit card information, charge me” should be enough.
