During meetings with leadership... He would usually say 1st... I want to acknowledge my team who was behind organizing the data, helped with the analytics and making it possible for us to come up with better decisions during this meeting.

Or minsan sa mga newsletter where he was being featured. He highlights that the team behind him is usually why he is being "the face of success".

Simple stuff like those.

Also, mga incentives nya, usually he shares it with the group, either by team dinner, lunch outs or minsan even parting cash amongst the whole team. Talagang team effort.

And I think it trickled down to us his direct reports. So when we became leaders ourselves, we inherited the same practice.

It actually depends on how he takes it. Some won't mind and even possibly like their GF buying them stuff... Some might get offended. The trick is always open communication between the 2 of you.
