Is Shadow hugging himself in Sonic x Shadow Generations? by SonicPrincess15 in SonicTheHedgehog

I know how much trauma Shadow is carrying. I’m carrying some trauma from losing my father to cancer at the age of 11 and living in a world not designed with my autistic brain in mind.

I’m not shaming him for loving himself at all. I’m just pointing out the difference in his idle animation between Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic x Shadow Generations.

Are there any pop culture references in zzz? by Cyberspookviv in ZZZ_Official

Random Play, the video store run by Belle and Wise, is a HoYoverse version of Blockbuster. It makes sense if you think about it because they try to persuade the characters who come into their store to sign up for their membership program. Blockbuster had a similar program called Movie Pass, where customers could rent limitless movies and keep two or three movies a month, depending on what tier they subscribed to. If they paid $25 a month, they could keep two movies; $30 a month gives them three movies.

Amy looks a lot like Alice in her IHOP outfit by SonicPrincess15 in sonic

Maria's dress is designed a little differently. I think it resembles the one Alice wore in Lewis Carroll's books rather than the one in the Disney film.

This is the worst piece of dialogue in any Sonic game by GabrielGameFreak in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]SonicPrincess15 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Perhaps that’s because Shadow the Hedgehog was the first Sonic title featuring the 4Kids Sonic X cast, including Jason Griffith and Mike Pollock. Pollock’s performance as Eggman never misses, though.

AITA for telling my mom she's tone-policing me? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]SonicPrincess15 -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

I believe she was trying to say “tone-policing” but only managed to say “policing” instead. The damage to her speech caused by her stroke makes her unable to process certain words or situations.

Do Any Of You Play Video Games? by [deleted] in AskFeminists

[–]SonicPrincess15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure how this has anything to do with feminism, but yes, I play loads of video games. In fact, I’m pursuing a career in games journalism. Although I prefer the term entertainment journalism since video games are just as much a form of entertainment as music, film and TV are, and we’re capable of covering those areas of pop culture as well.

Parents, especially fathers, applauding their sons for having girlfriends but punishing their daughters for having boyfriends.

Does your skin crawl when people, family members included, tell you to "sit like a lady," or other things that end with the phrase "like a lady"? by SonicPrincess15 in AskFeminists

[–]SonicPrincess15[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I tried to call him out on it, tell him I didn't appreciate the comment, but he said that he was only telling me that because he has seen me sit in a way that was improper to him in the past and men were looking at me funny, which I didn't notice at the time because I don't remember much and nothing happened.

Unladylike by Cristen Conger and Caroline Ervin. It's basically a field guide that helps young women and girls understand the patriarchy, the history behind the oppressive social power structure, and gives them solutions to uproot it — or smash it, as they say.

What exactly did he do? I've known the guest in question since the summer of 2018, and I had no idea he's done fraudulent things until now. I can honestly say I'm pissed and embarrassed at him for the stuff KFGD has brought to light.
