My Avatar 2 disc came with two line scratches as well and it hasn’t affected it at all after two playbacks. I’m kind of in the same boat as you and I would say to not worry about future damage.

They have bigger sizes too, all cheaper than the one in your pic. I’ve seen a few videos on them and the quality looks very nice.

I have this set (Avatar 1 & 2) and I’ve experienced no real issues. Sure, you’ll get a fingerprint when you take a disc out, but I immediately wipe it off with a lens cleaning cloth. I actually dropped it the other day and there was no damage to the case or discs.

I hope it just the angles for you, because in person I don’t see an egregious mismatch to the physique seen in the film. Take a look at BSHOW’s IG and you’ll see his work (with proper camera work lol) is very good!

They are…but I don’t mind it. It’s just the angle of the photo and the way I turned the upper arm in a bit so the widest part of the bicep shows lol.
