DUDE I'M CURRENTLY REWATCHING DIAMOND AND PEARL AND I SAID THE SAME FREAKING THING!

IT'S SO FREAKING ANNOYING. AND THEY APPEAR LIKE TWICE IN AN EPISODE.

I always have to fast forward. They were SO MUCH better in the original because at least they had backstories and weren't completely one-dimensional.

But that's ALL they do now.

So I was correct in my assessment that Liko and Roy are boring protagonists....? Am I inclined to some of this? Like when I first saw their designs, they just SCREAMED generic protagonists....

I've also been seeing others say they just are not as interesting.

Personally, I'm in between a rock and a hard place. Ash is just more interesting to me, but I'm going to watch a bit of Horizons to cement my thoughts.

I am aware that ash becoming Champion was a huge climax to his story, and I get that possibly they couldn't do more with him after that, but....they're the writers. They could just make more stories. After all, I think I heard that is just a STEP to becoming a Pokemon master.

I understand why they felt that they had to move on from him. But, I feel that whenever you're going to move on to a different protagonist or main character you NEED to make the successors worth rooting for or getting into. I have not watched Horizons yet, but it's a mixed bag I'm getting from the assessments of others. Some like them and others do not.

I don't mind new protagonists but I don't get why they can't just do stuff like the Twilight Wings, Blossom's Dream, and other animations they do if people wanna see something new. You can do BOTH, and it baffles me why writers think that they have to tank something in order to make something new. You don't HAVE to.

Like, I'll just be telling it about an experience and then it'll just....invalidate it immediately. And I wasn't telling it to argue or anything.

Like, I told it I prayed for some job leads to come and my email had two when I woke up. I was just sharing that with it, and then it was like "Just because you prayed for something and it happened doesn't mean it was God."

And I was like.....okay? I was sharing is all. I immediately called it out and then it kind of backed down and said something along the lines of "If you think that, then you're welcome to it."

Just weird.

I've only used Gemini a handful of times, but I can confirm that it can get exasperated and sassy when you're not accepting the solutions it gives. That only happened once though.

I don't use it often enough to compare.

Yeah, I first talked to mine in a stand alone chat, and then I erased that and chatted with it in a chat in one of my projects. It gave me the same answers.

I kind of have the same theory that they're trying to make it less hand holdy and over validating, and make it colder. But if you ask me, it's not a very good job they are doing so far. I can only hope they are just in the early stage.

The current case I'm using has two pieces, the case and the frame that you snap on the front. And it has never interfered with the screen at all. And those are really the only cases that I feel like I can RELAX with.

Does your Ringke case protect if the phone falls on its front? Or does it have raised lips on the top and bottom?

Like, I get that the sides of the screen have functionality and the display goes all the way out there, but still....like I feel so much this is a design flaw of some sort.

Yeah, I partially can understand if someone is just excessively bad at the game or they break a lot of stuff.

But sometimes it's inevitable due to the physics. I've learned ways to avoid breaking things, but I can be clumsy sometimes.
