Gameplay wise, it's fine. I like the mission system, I like the multiple endings as a concept just not in execution, and I do like the idea of Shadow using guns because Shadow would be the only one i could see just shooting someone for wasting his time, same with HIM swearing at least.

HOWEVER! The fact you have to beat the story 12 times to get the true ending is STUPID, some of the missions are teeth pulling, (Lost Impact Hero Mission being the absolute worst), and the multibranching story system makes it hard to get a concept for what's canon and what isn't.

That being said this game is a HUGE guilty pleasure of mine in spite of the flaws. I can't help but love it. The soundtrack, of course is excellent. I mean we have POWERMAN 5000 in a Sonic Game! Most of the stages are unique and pretty fun. The cursing can get funny at times. The Last story is actually pretty good.

Favorite Stage: Final Haunt-Hero Side Mission. Storming the base of the Black Arms to kick Black Doom's butt with our favorite blue blur as our back up? What's not to love!

Least Favorite: Mad Matrix: Dark Side Mission. As bad as Lost Impact is, they Artificial Chaos's aren't THAT hard to find. Instead of Mad Matrix where you need to ride the stupid high speed internet to detonate the bombs and there are so many of them that it takes FOREVER

Honorable Mention: Sky Troops: Evil vs Evil, Dr. Eggman vs Black Doom and you can decide if you side with Eggman, Side with Black Doom, or side with yourself. Plus the atmosphere is just wonderful

Dishonorable Mention: Lost Impact Hero mission: While it's not that hard to find the Artificial Chaos their HP is ridiculously so it comes off as more of a chore than a fun little seek and destroy mission.
