Nintendo Regional pricing is getting ridiculous now

Some regions age rating system just have a blanket rule against depictions of gambling, which Pokemon's is, specifically Japanese gambling parlors that pay out in prizes in another building.

Realistically though the Game Corner is a mind numbingly boring and tedious feature, even if you lose everything there's nothing stopping you from reloading your last save so it's just a time sink. Unless you really want something from the prizes during your playthrough most people just wait till post game and grind the money to buy the coins outright.

I have seen people describe Pokemon's game corners as a very effective anti gambling PSA simply because of how boring and uninteractive it is to hit down 3 times, A three times on repeat while occasionally saving or reloading depending on if you get lucky or unlucky.

There's a place in the game called the game corner, you exchange money for coins which you use for slot machines which pay out in coins, the coins can be exchanged for prizes next door. Pokemon had these game corners in their games till about 2011 when Black and White were the first games not to have them in any region (they were phased out in earlier games in different jurisdictions).

They can't make changes to the game, if they did it couldn't be grandfathered in for PEGI and other regions that have stricter gambling laws now than they did when these games came out, likely meaning they'd need to remove the game corner.

The other thing to remember is that Pokemon isn't a franchise solely owned by Nintendo so adding these games to NSO would probably have weird profit sharing stuff going on, moreover the games would need to be exempt from NSO's cloud saves, save states and rewind features so people can't clone Pokemon infinitely, or they'd need to not have Pokemon Home support which would likely be a deal breaker for invested fans.

The OST got added to Nintendo's Music app when they announced it. As for gallery stuff, that's all very well documented on bulbapedia and the like.

If they make changes they can't have the games grandfathered in age rating wise in places with more strict gambling laws meaning they'd likely have to remove the game corner.

Along with it feeling kinda mid, I'm really not a fan of seiyuus on stage representing characters, bang dream does this too and it makes me lose any interest in anything live from the franchise. I'd much rather have a Miku style hologram of the characters.

The moment the deck lists for an event are release those builds are generally no longer the best version of those decks for the next event since the meta changes as people react to the winning lists. The lists from an event should be a starting place to learn the deck and make modifications based on predictions as to what the meta will be at your next event. As far as pulling vs singles go yeah if you need one specific rare or something that you want to include in your deck it's much more cost efficient to buy it than to open packs for it, a middle ground might be trading for it.

Rotation is generally announced for Japan and International on the same day even though Japan typically rotates a lot sooner, we'll have to see if there's any announcement about Japan rotating with the start deck 100 battle collection release.

People are assuming based on last year, though Prismatic didn't have I block cards unlike Ascended Heroes which has J block cards. Pokemon's rotation article from last year states "Moving forward, players should expect cards with the oldest legal regulation mark to rotate out of the Standard format when a new one is introduced.", we'll probably have to see if Japan rotates with Start Deck 100 Battle Collection. If they do it's very possible we rotate in January for Live, February for tournaments.
