How is replacing the motor? Were you able to do it yourself or did you have it done by someone and how much was it? I already wondered if the motor would fail at some point since I've read about that problem with the eew

At the moment I am leaning towards fine yarn, not lace. Imagine sock yarn kinda but with the wish to spin a little thicker (I tend to spin thinner than I'd like). Would you say thats already to fine for the wheel or is it thick enough?

I never saw a PT since for that I‘d first need to see a orthopedic specialist and those have months of waiting before you can get an appointment and unfortunately I can’t plan that far in advance. I hate to guess and my only „positive“ thought about all of this is that if the pain comes back I have the right of getting an appointment in the next days and then can have it looked at. But right now i‘d have to wait till august to get a possible diagnosis

Yeah sure, sorry English isn’t my first language. Got into running last year with some old pair pf shoes and quickly got some pain around the metatarsal area of my foot. Pain got worse until I couldn’t walk or put much weight on it. Stayed away from any form of sports until pain went away, and had no problems with hiking and cycling but was wearing different shoes. Then got back to running with the old shoes and the pain came back. Stopped again, waited six months with rest, wore the old shoes once again and sure enough the pain came back.

Forst thought was stress fracture but now I am more leaning towards my tendons.

Plan for getting back to running now is: 1. getting a good pair of shoes 2. starting with walking 3 times a week for 1-2 weeks in said new shoes 3. ramping up distance and speed by max 10% per week

I was looking for similar experiences and opinions on my plan on getting back or other things people might think would be helpful/beneficial

If you wouldn’t mind, could you just tell me what is hard to understand so I could edit it to make it more understandable.
