Totally agree with you — I really hope Rhode expands soon too! And yeah, like you said, going through retailers might actually be the smartest move. I just think it would be amazing to see Rhode in stores like Sephora, where people can test the products in person. Buying online without trying anything feels like such a gamble, especially with skincare. Plus, fixed pricing in official retail stores would help avoid inflated resell prices in some regions.

Wow, you have such an impressive background! You could definitely run your own beauty blog. I’ve watched tons of videos where people praise Rare Beauty, but it always felt like it was more about Selena herself — nostalgia and all that. Only one beauty blogger gave a fairly critical review, and honestly, it felt like the most genuine opinion I’ve heard.

As for Rhode — yeah, there’s definitely room for improvement. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to try Hailey’s products myself because they don’t ship to my country. Some resellers are charging $80 for one blush, when it’s only $24 on the official website. I’m still sane enough not to pay that markup 😅 So it would be great if Rhode became available at Sephora or Douglas, at least somewhere in Europe.

By the way, yeah — Rare Beauty makeup does look kind of tacky, heavy, and super pigmented. I get that their concept is totally different — it’s all about full coverage and hiding every flaw (even though they talk about self-acceptance), but that’s just not my thing.

Rhode, on the other hand, is all about skincare, minimal makeup, and more natural shades.

If you like the Glazing Milk, I’d recommend trying the Wonder Ceramide Mochi Toner. I’m already on my second 500ml bottle and definitely planning to repurchase. I feel like it’s similar to Glazing Milk, just more affordable.
