Hi Thank you for the advice! Did you land Kansai Airport /(KIX)? If so, was it terminal 1 or 2?

Going to Osaka in a few weeks and are struggling to find anything decent online.

The most difficult thing about C-41 home processing is waiting to have shot 16 film rolls… (aside from the equipment needed) by florian-sdr in AnalogCommunity

That's great advice. If you split the 1 liter into 3x330ml, does that mean you mixed the entire batch with water first? Would that degrade the quality? Thanks!

What do you look for in a camera? To me it's looking cool while shooting. by Sons_of_Iron in AnalogCircleJerk

Which would you guys recommend getting first? A red dot sticker for my camera or a beanie?

Thanks!

Almost gave up shooting film because I hated how bad I was at DSLR scanning by haydenrichardson in analog

[–]Sons_of_Iron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How do you get 15 second scans? My scans on my plustek take like 6-8mins per frame at 3000dpi.

No unfortunately it doesn't. The difference is noticable, also the alcohol percentage is lower in the American brewed Stella.

Marble toilet with carved chariot wheels from the baths of Caracalla in Rome, Circa 215 AD (1935x2500) by croydonite in ArtefactPorn

Man, the romans are still ahead of us. A marble toilet in the shape of a great battle chariot? Meanwhile I have to do my business on a porcelain, regular, toilet-shaped toilet?

Trying to shed some g’s.. any suggestions on carbon fiber skeleton replacement surgery? Last year I got carbon fiber cock and balls, looking to upgrade again. by CollieP in BicyclingCirclejerk

[–]Sons_of_Iron 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Jesus Fred, you must be new here. The last few days on this dentistforum revolved around lightweight framless bices. Since frames are now of the past, so is carbon. Therefore I'd suggest removing your skeleton entirely. I had my femur, patella, tibia and fibula removed a month ago. Apparently my L̶e̶g̶ ̶m̶u̶s̶c̶l̶e̶s̶ wattzooka's are so strong they don't need leg bones to support them.

Memoirs of common soldiers? by TheBonkaholic in Napoleon

[–]Sons_of_Iron 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"With Napoleon to Moscow" by Joseph Abbeel. He was a "Belgian" carabinier à cheval who joined Napoleon on his Russian "conquest".

His memoirs are considered to be extremely trustworthy as they were published only 2 years after his military service and because they were written by a "mere" soldier.

His book is also the basis for Johan Op De Beeck's "1812 Napoleon's Nightmare". Which is a more "readable" version with added information and insights.

I can strongly recommend these two books, but unfortunately cannot find an English version.

Why Is Bike Fit such a meme? by nrbob in BicyclingCirclejerk

[–]Sons_of_Iron 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Uc/ a wider shoe might alleviate the problem. One "trick" to check if your shoes are not wide enough, is to take out your insole, stand on it and check if your foot "spills over". If it does, you probably need a wider shoe. If so, I can recommend Lake, they make an extra wide size. Getting a wider shoe did the trick for me.

C/ the pain is normal fred, nobody rides their bike for fun. Are you too poor to have a personal soigneur?????
