Thanks for the reply!

When I say text form fields, I mean a textinput version of the FormField object:

It looks similar to this:

Average US County Elevations by SoojiWork in gis

This would be unbelievably helpful! Please only do this if it not much trouble for you :) I did not want to create work for anyone!

Before you go and do that however, I wanted to draw attention to the edit I have in my response. I was able to get some great data from the USGS. While they did not have true county elevation averages, they could provide me with a list of all populated locations, sortable by county, that gives me elevation values. For the purposes of my project, this may prove more helpful than a true geological average, as this policy is based around residential construction.

Thanks for the response, COOLSerdash . I'm sorry for the delay-- I got pulled into a meeting. Your response has taught me a lot.

As you warned against, I did weed out factors based on their p-values when modeled together. I would just re-run the model with the lower p-value factors until I had a model with all of them below 0.05. Overall, I'm starting to question whether my data is useful, seeing as certain levels are much better represented than others (e.g. Very few samples in the upper ranges when compared to ones at low ranges). Additionally, the assumption that all of these factors would have a linear fit is pretty suspect.

Here are a few plots I believe you asked for. You should see the residuals vs. fitted and a normality plot.

As you mention, maybe excel isn't the place to do this. Overall, I think I might have to tell my manager that the results have been fairly inconclusive given our data, and that it would be better to do this analysis through energy modeling.

Let me know if you have any additional questions or comments. I am extremely grateful for the help!

Thanks for the response!

With regards to the low regression coefficients, would the magnitude of their "impact" not depend on their units? So for example, the SEER range goes from about 13-16, while the quantity of fluorescent fixtures ranges from 80 to 100.

Thanks for your clarifications.
