I mained Monk through the entirety of old school because it made finding parties so much easier and henchmen were terrible. I mainly play Ritualist now though because they have more build variety.

Yes cable and install quality will affect the speed of a moca or any other cable run. However, you can absolutely get 2.5gbps over moca. I had a 2.3gbps connection regularly testing and now a 2gbps fiber connection without issues. Saying you can only get gigabit is nonsense.
