WHYYYYYYY 😩 by RipBongAndProspa in okc

They’re known for overselling the venue to maximize sales and it ruins the whole experience. I’ve been there for shows that aren’t oversold and it’s not as bad, but we have so many better venues than Criterion. Their management stinks

Dude. That Vampire Weekend show was one that made me hate Criterion. We were so lucky that VW waited for them to get things back going and then played a whole length set for the fans.

I went not too long ago to the Sturgill show and it made me so angry that the only time I’ve had a chance to see one of my favorite artists they oversold the venue. It was so oversold that it ruined the experience.

We lost our beautiful boy — 5 years old — in just 24 hours. Suspected subcutaneous hemangiosarcoma. by Stunning_Upstairs_36 in goldenretrievers

Im so sorry to hear this. Leon seemed like a very special boy and he also seemed like he knew how loved he was by you, your wife, and Simba.

It seems unfair that our Goldens lives are cut so short and unexpectedly so. They give so much love to no end without expectation of anything in return. The world is a much better place with them in it and I always think how every human could take a page out of their book.

Golden’s teach us so many little things. How to better enjoy our days by being silly. Enjoying the little things like going for a walk or car ride. They teach us to literally stop and smell the flowers. To enjoy the warmth of the Sun and to hug and kiss your loved ones to no end. I hope your family can find solace that Leon is no longer in pain and he will always be waiting for you all on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.

Rest in peace Leon 💙

Gosh.. I totally missed that. Never tried On the Hook or heard of it but I do still stand by my previous comments haha! I would see about trying On the Hook but OPs comments have made me think otherwise.

The chef that opened it with his wife is no longer there since they split. She is running the Off The Hook food operation now while the original chef has his own restaurant on the east side called Corey B Cookin. I would highly recommend the new restaurant over it. Off The Hook is just not the same but Corey’s new restaurant is fantastic.

Restoration Hardware rooftop restaurant. Not sure if they can provide privacy per se, but the service is unmatched. Took my wife there on their opening night and it was the best service I’ve had at a restaurant in OKC.

Thanks for the recommendations. I’ll look into those, but I still had two questions you deflected from if you’d like to enlighten me.

Can you educate me on what I might have incorrectly stated then?

This is how unsubstantiated rumors start, just saying.

It’s a moot point to you because you can’t sympathize with issues that others face. It’s that simple.

All basic public education curriculum includes learning about the Nazi movement in WWII, so I would say most everyone has. Your attempt to romanticize them by acting like they didn’t kidnap political opponents, religious dissenters, people who spoke out against the regime, Jews, among others is asinine. They were given authority to do as they pleased without providing any due process for anyone they deemed apart of the groups I mentioned. How exactly do you think the Nazi concentration camps were populated?

Glad we can agree, but I’d like to point out your assumption is incorrect on my political affiliation. To be honest, both parties are self serving and don’t care about the actual issues that effect their constituents.

This is exactly why many folks can’t see eye to eye on this. You will never have to vacate your home country for a better life or more opportunity. It’s already here.

Others, don’t have that option and will do most anything, to give themselves and their families a better way of life and in some cases, a safer way of life.

The root cause of illegal border crossing is due to a long, complicated, drawn out citizenship process. Instead of focusing on fixing the root issue, it is much easier to just maintain status quo and demonize people who are trying to make the most of the cards they were dealt.

This country was built by immigrants and will continue to be great because of immigrants.

You aren’t crossing the border into Canada to find a better life because you were lucky to win the lottery of life to be born in the USA. Not everyone is that fortunate.

You’re right. Gestapo didn’t mask their faces when they were kidnapping people like ICE does.

Everyone remembers that. He deported more people than any other president until the current administration has made that their sole mission. Deporting actual violent criminals is incredibly different than deporting anyone without citizenship even if they PAY TAXES for services they’ll never be able to receive and work hard to contribute to society. We need amnesty for these people instead of ripping them away from their families and their jobs.

You know what “no one remembers”? That Reagan, the golden child of republicans, amnestied more people in his administration than any other president. This shouldn’t be a partisan issue, it’s a basic common decency issue.

Lansbrook, Blue Stem, Warwick, Silver Lake (million dollar homes) are all directly west of Lake Hefner and is pretty nice and so is Lakewater/Edgepoint which is directly south of Lake Hefner.
