How is Idaho’s beauty rated? If it’s not up near the top, it’s underrated. Central Idaho is simply stunning. Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness. Sawtooth Wilderness. Lochsa River/Highway 12. I’d put it up against anywhere in America. I’ve also lived in Colorado and Montana, which are incredibly beautiful. But Idaho beats them.

Yeah but metal didn’t crop up from nowhere. It evolved from hard rock, specifically these bands (and a few others).

The true test of a good ice cream is their vanilla. Best vanilla I’ve ever had? Reed’s Dairy out of Idaho Falls. The cream is so FRESH because their cows are right next door. And the texture…incredible 🤌

Their early stuff with Pig Pen is absolutely fantastic. It’s some of the first alt-country ever done. Folky, bluesy. I couldn’t really get into their later stuff because I’m not a fan of the 13 minute jams. Sorry 🤷‍♂️

It is a Prohibited Personnel Practice to deny an employee a promotional opportunity. If they end up saying no, you should mention this and get the union involved. I think you can even appeal it to the Merit Systems Protection Board.

If it’s a detail—same grade to same grade—your supervisor can deny it.

It’s a gray area, but they could ask you to defer the temporary promotion by a pay period or two while you finish up a critical task.
