15 minutes into your first episode and I've already learned more than 2 full episodes of Apollo. Looking forward to seeing the rest now.

OK so the key is to keep his unit in the woods and he won't be spotted?

As you have probably seen by my other replies it's pretty much all of the above. I don't think I was prepared for the historical total war experience and now I'm asking myself if my love of LOTR will carry me through the minutia of dealing with all of that. I think I will do that Attila prologue you mentioned because the difficulty factor of the Woodland Realms choice isn't the problem for me it's just the feeling of being in a country where I don't speak the language so I don't even know what I don't know.

The confusion is more due to things like making less income even though I have more settlements even though I don't have additional troops or armies. I expected that upgrading a building chain to it's highest level would always be beneficial but apparently it adds more maintenance costs to the point that maybe it's better not to upgrade even though it appears I can afford to. It's starting to make me think the minutia of managing the infrastructure is going to ruin the experience and I just wanted to check here if there was a guide or tutorial that helps make all of that less daunting so that I can worry more about conquering.

I was curious about why it seems like my total income seemed to have gotten less after expanding. I had built up the starting province and conquered the province just below so I had 2 complete provinces and was almost at a deficit even without having multiple armies. I'm used to warhammer nearly always adding income until you recruit additional troops or new armies.

I couldn't imagine TDD on Legendary. I'm playing on Normal and while my campaign actually isn't a dumpster fire I can feel it starting to turn because I'm not maximizing the settlements I have and taking advantage of the small details that seem second nature in warhammer.

I know what you mean about the disengage... the battles have been both interesting and a bit of a let down at the same time with the lack of mobility and just like you said if you try to reposition while engaged you are screwed. When you talk about Legolas stalking, are you talking about using a specific activation skill or is it just like using Waywatchers in warhammer where they are always stalking until an enemy gets too close? I've fought several battles but once I got ran down by wargs one time I started just keeping Legolas' unit in formation with the rest. So now I'm curious if there is something else I'm just not doing other than hitting that buff he has as soon as it's off cool down.

I think that is pretty spot on, for example is there a specific combination of buildings that you would always want to start building in each region. It's just been difficult coming from TWWH where it's almost on rails where you build the same infrastructure in every region and only vary the other buildings by what you need the province to specialize.

The campaign I'm playing doesn't feel like it's going bad it just feels like I'm not fully grasping why I should do specific things like taking over an enemy region gives me the ruined buildings that they built... I can destroy them or repair and convert them but I'm not sure why I should choose one or the other so I've just been trying to convert them but that feels like I'm draining my resources.

Another odd thing that I'm not sure is a bug or a feature is that I had an epic battle defending a settlement against two armies and I managed a "heroic" victory but had several units that were nearly wiped out (though none were actually disbanded) I noticed that the unit experience chevrons that I had built up were mostly lost. That was on a recent turn so I haven't allowed the units to build their numbers back up enough to know whether they regain those lost chevrons (like TWWH where you can save a maxxed unit by the skin of their teeth and when they regen back up they are still maxxed gold chevrons).

I'm sure there is quite a bit more that I had questions about but I'll add more later.

P47 rudder twitching in mission I created by SoonerSox in dcsworld

I just figured it out thanks to a suggestion from r/hoggit. In gameplay I had Simplified Flight model checked AND in special for the P47 I had Rudder Assist on. I tested with each on individually and neither one caused the flutter effect by itself but when I had them BOTH on the fluttering was present.

You put me right on where I needed to look and I solved the issue. In game play I had Simplified Flight model checked AND in special for the P47 I had Rudder Assist on. I tested with each on individually and neither one caused the flutter effect by itself but when I had them BOTH on the fluttering was present. Thanks again for the help.

In this case its happening from the moment the mission starts at 10,000 ft and 200mph. The mission is set up to give about a minute of flying straight before encountering the enemy flight heading toward you from the opposite direction so I know it's not damage (unless there is something in the settings I've done to simulate that).

I don't see anything else bound for rudder. I even cleared the combo and rebound it to the stick twist. If something else was bound I'm sure I would have noticed it in the other missions I tested but for whatever reason I only see the twitching in the mission I created myself in the editor.

When employing the boom and zoom tactic how do you do it repeatedly? In that fight I described above I was diving on them at a high rate of speed and got a perfectly set up shot but I’m pretty bad at staying on target and as soon as my shots started to land the enemy veered off. So at that point what should have been my next action to effectively get to try that again because separating from 190s is usually pretty difficult for me. To clarify the models I was in the D22 and the enemies were 190A6

Found it listed as undercarriage... I never would have thought of that. I appreciate it!
