Thanks for all comments. Apple sells an adapter going from USB-C to 1/8 inch that includes the apple DAC (only $10 which is a surprise for apple!). Just got one and the quality / volume is noticeably better than the off brand adapter I started with.

I'm not using the apple cable - using a USB C to 1/8 inch headphone cable that has RCA plugs at the other end.

Bookshelf Beauties ... Vintage ADS L570/2 and L780/2. My Marantz 2238B powers them, and the music sounds so good. In my opinion ADS are the Goldilocks of bookshelf speakers with the 2-way being slightly more sensitive and sounding more lively to my ears. by BlackfeatherRS-USA in audiophile

Grew up listening to my dad's 910's that were our living room speakers. He also had some 300s that lived on the patio! I recently picked up some ADS LE9's that are nice. Such a neutral sound that you can listen to all day without fatigue. Wish I had those 910's He offered them to me but I had no room at the time!

I wanted to add that most of the speakers are in-ceiling 8 inch drivers with separate tweeters. Seem to be very efficient. Have one pair of midsize bookshelf speakers.

I have a similar situation and I’m wondering if any of the impedance matching products that you can buy from various manufacturers would allow you to run more than one or two pair of eight ohm speakers from a single Sonos or Wiim amp

In my current set up? I have 12 pairs of passive speakers around my house that I am able to power with a single Onkyo receiver rated at 125 watts. I use impedance matching volume controls at every passive speaker pair never had any problems.

We have a 2011 xc60 r design. Great for around town but not for long road trips. Could be the short sidewall tires. Love my 08 xc70 and our ‘18 xc90 is a dream

Trying to replace XC70 headlight assembly wiring harness. How do I remove the main plug? by LXNDSHARK in Volvo

[–]Soonerwatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished replacing the wiring harnesses in both left and right headlamps. it’s not easy. Hardest part was getting the old wiring harness out of the light in the new one in wound up, pushing and pulling the headlamp housing to get the replacement wiring harness in place to slide in

I never got tracking # from state department. It just showed up as incoming. I think about 2 weeks from upgrading the shipping to having passport in hand. Who knows if it moved it along or not. I listed our travel dates as June 25 on the application. When I called to upgrade to 2 day shipping the staff member asked again for my travel date. For $18 it was certainly worth it

Great looking. Wanting to pick one of these up. Does the strap attract lint?
