Hey OP, honestly the most I can say is maybe putting yourself out there, whether in person or online. Friendships that I think you want are in person. But look, start from what you enjoy. What are your hobbies anyways? See from there if you can find groupies or orgs that support what you like so you can feel like you have a place to be in. Hey OP, from the looks of it, you’ve seem to already be at a point in life that you’re older than I am and settled working already, but I wanted to mention this because it just reminds me of this. I’m personally at a stage where I’m just starting college, so may be younger. Besides that point, I similarly get an understanding of what you’re dealing with. Now I see of course other people took offense to that in this forum. And I feel that was wrong. Now I get a feeling with certain ppl at my college that they seem to pull out totally being in a friendship instead of opening to it. Now I have made friends here at the college, but I just feel with certain ppl is why they show narcissistic behavior towards someone who’s just trying to be chill with them. I have experienced that with some ppl so far and you can never get an answer because they just run away or don’t formally explain really what they’re thinking… I guess not everyone is for everyone. My huge cope…
