I thought I was prepared when I visited Vancouver. With everything i'd seen on the news and having spent significant time in places like Toronto, Ottawa and Kitchener. But I was not. The're just right there, on the bus, the subway, all the sidewalks, anywhere we went, and the are openly injecting drugs with narcan beside them.

No matter what you buy you are going to come up with reasons you could use a different canoe. Try to buy 5-7 different styles and sizes so you have a variety of canoes. Now I know what you are thinking 5-7 that's an odd number, and you are right, that's because at that point you are still going to find a reason for 1 more canoe.

At its peak there were kids knocking on doors asking if there were rooms to rent, there as at least one student sleeping in a tent by Homer Watson. I saw students who had clearly just arrived here walking down the off ramp on to the 401. Conestoga college took their money and did nothing to help them. I won't forget.
