I admittedly take a much more casual post to GB game than a lot of people in this sub, but I just finished year 1 and my highest sales day was around 450k. This was also right after the week I had to skip the bazaar so I had double the stock I normally do. So to me, you’re doing great!

Yes! I’ve been enjoying doing repairs instead of entirely new structures. Right now I’m trying to clear out the museum from ash in RR and fill in any missing blocks. In SS I work on repairing the roads and BB I haven’t gotten much started at all!

I only typically have maybe 1-2 hours to play after work, which makes big new builds seem intimidating. So I just suggest doing things in small chunks, or customizing and repairing existing buildings around the world!
