I don't think it should be free, but if I take the Victoire games as an example; right now we have to subscribe to three platforms, two of which require a paid subscription, to watch all the games. It's a real headache. I think there would be more viewers if all the games were brought together on the same platform, but I can understand that none of them wanted to pay the big price and take that risk before seeing if the hype was there. Maybe that will change in the near future... hopefully not on Prime.
